Alana and Alyssa

Alana De La Garza, an incredible actress who is a legend on the screen. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. The next year was not long after when she moved to Texas. In Texas, she began a career in the field of physical therapy. De La Garza didn't last very long in Texas then moved in Orlando Florida where she experienced a variety of acting roles such as local independent films and global commercials. Even the small roles did not stop her from discovering that she loved acting. Then she moved in New York in 2001 and landed her very first job in acting as Rosa Santos on All My Children which is a soap for the daytime. Throughout the first decade of 2000 she appeared in small roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she landed her first role in a major series on the short-lived drama The Mountain. De La Garza, who played Maria Serrano on The Mountain was fortunate to have starred alongside many top TV stars, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch Pilegget. Her most memorable character was on Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. Then she joined the brief-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards in the character's honor including Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she was awarded the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a recurring character in CSI Miami a short time afterwards. She played Marisol Deko as well as wife to David Caruso's character Horatio. The most recent television appearance was with NBC's rather dark dramatic Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After two short episodes, the show was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is from Italian heritage and also has a younger brother Cory who is ten years older than her. She was raised in an environment that was strict and extremely religious. Milano started her acting profession at the age of seven, when her babysitter accompanied her to a stage audition. The audition was attended by four girls from more than a thousand aspirants. Milano was featured in commercials for TV and off Broadway shows, like the American first adaptation musical of Jane Eyre.
